The picture of Mr. V.N. Kathirgamer JP.,PJK., AMN and Mr. V.N.V Pillai. Mr. V.N.V Pillai is the elder brother of Mr. V.N.K and stayed in Penang. Therefore he's known as "Penang Uncle" among the sons and daughters of Mr. V.N.K. A very kind person that smile all the times. He too is a soft spoken person and love to talks about politics and current issues. He's indeed our favorite uncle...!! May their souls rest in peace as brothers.
I will always remember my dearest Uncle VNV Pillai.....a very soft, understanding & generous person...He will share is stories on estates & plantations....He is a well known Land Broker and has done numerous business deals with the late Tan Sri LOH BOON SIEW (Boon Siew Group of Companies- Penang) & Tan Sri Lee Loy Seng (Founder of Taiko Plantations).
ReplyDeleteHe speaks fluently in English, Malay, Tamil & Hokkien and that was the reason why he was very successful in closing land deals.
I can also remember Haji Zain, his faithful driver of over 40 years.....Haji is still alive but unfortunately is aging & not feeling well.
Uncle VNV, I will never ever forget your words of motivation, encouragement and wisdom to all my family members...
The Ceylonese community & the rest of the people who knew him will fondly Miss Him!!!
